SUP Yoga

Stunning locations with fun-filled practice

SUP Yoga in Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch

From regular yogis to those wanting to try a new challenge, stand up paddle board yoga offers something new, fun and exciting for everyone. With no yoga mats in sight, we head out from some of the UK’s most beautiful beaches, harbours and rivers in the Dorset area. Compared to a regular yoga practice, SUP yoga offers an added balance-challenge that comes with practicing on the water.

Take the plunge and enjoy the playful freedom that SUP yoga provides. From mastering the basic asanas to challenging yourself to more demanding postures, all sessions are designed to be fun, rewarding and suitable for all levels. Carina is a strong advocate in the benefits of practicing yoga in the wild as it allows you to reconnect with nature and appreciate the beautiful sceenary around. Don’t be afraid to get your toes wet and embrace the feeling of a warm sun on your back and the divine experience of floating Savasana.

The SUP Yoga Difference

Compared to practicing yoga on level solid floor, SUP yoga recruits additional muscles in our core and legs to help stabilise the body on the water. Along with the playful nature of the practice, it also calls upon the mind to focus. Where else will you find yourself in deep concentration with smiles breaking through?

Sessions will include a gentle warmup, sun salutations, a fluid flow and the experience of a floating savasana.
